var htmlstring="Introduction:

Chemical weapons are highly toxic chemicals capable to kill, injure or incapacitate people.
Entered into force in 1997 the Chemical Weapons Convention prohibits all development,
production, acquisition, stockpiling, transfer, and use of very toxic chemicals which could be
used as chemical weapons. Currently 170 countries joined this treaty. It requires each State
Party to destroy these chemicals and chemical weapons production facilities it possesses if any.

The verification provisions of the treaty affect also the civilian industry (chemical, petrochemical,
pharmaceutical, construction etc), world-wide, through certain restrictions and obligations
regarding the production, processing and consumption of chemicals that are considered relevant
to the possible production of the chemical weapons. Many chemicals are so called of dual-use.
They are commonly used in different industries but they also could be used as components for the
chemical weapons production. All such plants/factories have to be declared and will be verified
through routine on-site inspections; For further details see www.OPCW.org

Our service:

We can provide independent consultancy to the public / government organisations and the relevant
industries with regard to the Chemical Weapons Convention implementation (such as declaration or
routine inspection issues) and its impact on your activities, chemical weapons protection and
counter-terrorism measures, chemical weapons destruction facilities and technology involved.
All these issues are to be unclassified on their nature and the relevant information is publicly
available elsewhere.
